Despite the inclement weather prior to the May 10 flea market, we fared well. The morning was slow because the rain hadn’t stopped, but by afternoon the sun came out and people started stopping in. Our flea market has become so popular. It is well known throughout the area and people look forward to it both May and September. We hope to continue serving the public by having these flea markets in the future.

St. Nicholas Church has been blessed to have a consistent fundraiser over the past 20 years. Since the 1980s it has grown significantly, supplying over 200 vendors a space each Spring and Fall on our cemetery property at Boght Corners. Our dedicated church members make and sell Russian/Ukrainian/Polish ethic food as well as American fare and sell baked goods. If weather permits, the flea market draws more than 8,000 people shopping for bargains and consuming our tasty cooking.
