Ann Wandzilak, 91, died November 11, 2013. Wife of the late Michael Wandzilak; mother of Barbara W. (late, Kevin) Kehn of Melrose; sister of Harry (Virginia) Matala of Melrose and the late John (wife Madelyn of Schaghticoke) and the late Demetrius Matala, Maria Sofranko and Justina Sokol, also survived by her feline friend, Kitzee and several godchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 9:15 a.m. from the White-Sanvidge Funeral Home, 58 Leversee Road (RT-40 in Speigletown), Troy, NY 12182 and at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas RO Church, Cohoes. Calling hours were held at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. with the Parastas at 7 p.m. Burial in St. Nicholas RO Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Nicholas RO Church, 67 Saratoga Ave., Cohoes, NY 12047 or to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204.

The marriage between Catherine Forester and E. Richard Gould will take place on October 19th 10AM at St. Nicholas Church. If anyone can show just cause why these two should not be joined together, come forward now.

Sat., June 22nd Blessing of Graves at our cemetery

        After the Soul Saturday Divine Liturgy in the church, we will have the blessing of graves for those who wish 
    to have a Litiya on the grave of their loved ones. We will begin around 11:30am. Stand by your graves. 
    We will begin at the west end.

Sun., June 23rd Blessing of Graves at our cemetery

        After the Pentecost Divine Liturgy, Litiya for Zina Mike (100 year birthday) and kneeling prayers in the church,
     we will go to the cemetery and have a general panakhyda at the cross at 12:30 noon. We will then have a general 
     blessing of each grave starting at the east end. 

On Sunday, July 1st, we baptized three children, daughter of James and Angelique Haughney and the twin daughters of Frank and Rayanne Babich. Angelique and Rayanne are the daughters of Regina Miszcewicz Legace and granddaughters of the late Tekla Miszcewicz.

Retrospective taped lectures on Confession have been converted to MP3 files and are available by clicking the Video/Photo tab.

At noon Saturday July 14th, we will bless animals at the cemetery grounds. A pet costume contest will be after the blessing and prizes awarded.

St. Nicholas welcomes, Greg Erbstoesser to our parish. Greg is originally from Ohio. May God grant him many years with us!
